Grandview Cabinetry Names Tim Price Director of KS Operations

In 1993, when Tim Price joined Grandview Cabinetry as a member of the face frame department, the company looked much different than it does now. Tim’s employment pre-dates the expansion of the manufacturing location, the establishment of a second location in Cherryvale, KS, the acquisition of M&M Moulders, an additional expansion in 2005, the loss of longtime Grandview owner, E.F. “Sonny” Zetmeir, and the Zetmeir family’s decision to entrust Stan Tidwell, a longtime industry friend, with ownership of the company in 2018.

Over the past four years, Grandview has continued its evolution, and so has Tim Price. Name any job at Grandview, and Tim has likely done it. He has worked on the paint line, in the repair department, on assembly line inspection, and in the door department.

He has also served as Multi-Family Sales Project Estimator, Project Sales Manager, Vice-President of Production, Director of Manufacturing, and Director of Multi-Family Sales. There are very few people in the industry with kind of hands-on production, design, sales, and corporate experience that Tim has garnered during his tenure with Grandview Cabinetry.

In March 2022, Grandview Owner/CEO Stan Tidwell and President David Saylor named Tim Price Director of KS Operations. Saylor said: “Tim Price has demonstrated an unparalleled history of leadership within Grandview Cabinetry, and we’re pleased to see a Parsons native leading this company which has played such an integral role in the economic development of Parsons and Cherryvale.” Owner and CEO Stan Tidwell added: “Tim embodies our values and culture of commitment to faith, family and community. Not only is he an active member of the community and a leader in his local church, he also met his best friend and wife of 24 years, Mary, at Grandview.”

Tim is one of fourteen current members of Grandview Cabinetry’s 20-year Club – a group of dedicated individuals who have devoted at least two decades of their careers (that’ over 36,000 hours of work!) to building outstanding products, delighting our customers, and doing their part to grow our company. Over the past few years, there have been many changes to this company, to our industry, and on a global scale. Even during COVID, since construction is considered an essential service and Grandview sources and manufactures all of our cabinetry in the United States, the work never stopped. Tim has a decades-long track record of leading by example as a hard-working, loyal, and dedicated member of our team; please join us in congratulating him on his new role.
