We gave our box construction methods a makeover with captured back design that results in stronger, cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing cabinets. Grandview Cabinetry back panels are fully captured between end panels via dado (grooved) joints. This achieves enhanced structural integrity and improved appearance because:

• Our Hidden Hanger Rails Work Behind the Scenes: Hanger rails are tucked behind the captured back, meaning they’re invisible when looking inside the cabinet door.
• We Prefer Whole to Holes: Our new captured back design means pin holes give way to stronger techniques and cleaner aesthetics.
• We’ve Plugged In to Pretty: Slide-out shelves (SOS) and drawer slides plug into the back of the cabinet box, eliminating the need for unsightly mounting blocks.

All cabinetry orders include the captured back design as a standard feature.
